I´m a GenX male resenting in Northern Europe, with English as my second language.
Even though I have an engineering degree, used computers my whole adult life, and back in the days even coded in languages most of you young people never heard of, I now days have to ask my adult children for help with my smartphone. And I have never ever tried to create a Web-Site before.
But it´s never to late to learn something new, but it took some time to figure out on what subject my new "project" should focus on, where the Background can be found below?
Pleace take into consideration that I´m new at this, and the "project" will evolve slowly, and hopefully things get better over time.
Background
Two of my interests are Music and solving various type of Puzzles. Regarding music I´m a long time Metal-Head, started out in the early 80´s including listening to "hair-bands" as e.g. Whitesnake and Def Leppard, but also the giants as e.g. Iron Maiden, AC/DC and Metallica.
My taste in music has not changed but maybe "evolved" where my Spotify Wrap today include Nightwish, Sabaton and Amorphis, and I still sometimes visit concerts and festivals.
Some years ago, I started combining these two interests, but even though Internet is full of puzzles with music themes, I couldn´t find many Crosswords based on listening to music, so I started creating my own. It´s that previous, and quite "primitive", work that is the foundation for this WebSite idea.
In order to target a broad audience, previous developed puzzles has generally had a Broad Scope and covered a long Time Period, why an adult audience probably benefit most from the content.
Vision & Goal
My primary personal goal is to start a new hobby, learn something new, and try to do some catching up regarding the enormous technical evolvement that has been ongoing my whole life. This is also the first time I realy been in contact with AI, even if none of the current published Crosswords has used any AI or software as part of the development. And I also discarded AI for setup of this Web-Site, since I did not like the results, and doing things manual is also a better way to learn.
One main challange is to make my old primitive existing Crosswords more interactive, and maybe also go back to the roots and learn some basics regarding HTML and Java.
If someone out there should have any benefit from this work, it will be considered as a huge bonus. In such case please give some Feedback (good or bad), and why not also wish a Theme for a new Crossword.
