Interactive Crosswords Introduced

We are now performing the first Major Change, by introducing Interactive Crosswords possible solve and fill in direct on the site. These Crosswords have a separate section in the site (XW Interactive). Currently the previous introduced Printable Crosswords (#001 & #002) now have their corresponding Interactive alternative based on the same Questions and Songs, but require less support from supporting forms.

Beside finding, and implementing, a good technical solution for these new Interactive Crosswords, a challenge has been to find a effective way to support these crosswords with the music and already existing PlayLists. The main problem is that it´s not possible to define your own detailed order of the questions in the Interactive Crosswords, and the alternatives to use different orders are limited. There currently exist two different solutions to handle this issue, where the recommended alternative is to use the new Alternative Play Lists for these Crosswords, which makes it a bit harder to explain the concept.

The Interactive Crosswords are not optimal to solve on small screens (phones), and we would not be surprised if problems arise after publication.

The introduction of Interactive Crosswords also has affected most of the already existing sections. Some more and some less.
